I love my 07 Phazer, but am wondering if I would come out ahead buying new every 3 years. I figure I have about 500 in maintenance to do on the Phazer now ( not to mention the go faster money I want to spend)
So, if I bought a leftover model with 5 years warranty, traded in after 3 years with 3 to 5k miles, what do you think it'd cost. 1,000 a year or more?
I would only do it with the viper because they are the most popular in my area and I don't think I could make up the resale loss in value on the nytros that are out there. I do think Yamaha has some more competition with doo offering 4 year warranty on spring order, but still not sure the do 4s hold the value like Yamaha.

I dont think you will ever come out on top so to speak.
With that said yamahas do tend to hold their value well but after 3 years and 3-5000 miles i think your going to lose more like 2000-2500 especially if you are trading in to the dealer, they need to resell at a profit so the wont pay you what the average joe off the street will pay.

As we all know, sledding is super expensive but worth every penny!! Lol. My thought, is we're loosing money no matter what so pick up the exact sled you want and keep it a good 5+ years to get the most value out of it. Just my 2 cents.....
