Hey guys,

I just found this great online source for info on my new purchase. I just picked up an 03 RX-1ER in Red with an amazing 312 original miles. The sled looks like it just came off of the showroom floor and I got it for only $4800 out the door. With such little snow this year all the local dealers are selling sleds for dirt cheap, especially used. I will be bringing her up north (Errol-Pittsburg NH) this weekend. The engine is really not even broken in yet, so I will change the oil before heading up. I look forward to great advice and answers to my millions of questions.

Here is a picture of it...

I had one that color. It's still my favorite Rx1 color. You will need to do some updates to make an 03 handle, it will be great when your done. There is a lot of info on this site.

The most basic upgrades are 12mm or 13mm torsion bar, longer torsion bar links, straight rate front suspension springs.

There are a multitude of things you can do to make it rail including wide front end, upgrade skis, stuffing the seat, ect.

I currently have a silver 03 and a candy red 05.

I have an '03 RX1 and need some tips on setting up the rear suspension. I am 165lb and it seems very stiff on rough trails any advise.

Thanks for the help Swiss Sledder this is what I was looking for

I got to take her out yesterday for a quick 20 mile rip. I will never buy a 2-stroke sled again. The midrange and top end are incredible. I love elec start and reverse. I can't wait to get more snow. The following link is a picture with my fathers 02 XC800SP before our ride. It's like taking a Ferrari through downtown.

NOW YOU WANT TO BE REALLY AMAZED, call Freddie at ECP and get the ECP kit with matching clutch kit, and hold on! then call Pioneer and purchase and install the 12mm swaybar and links. then call Scott bergstrom and buy a set of his skegs and stick them on some better skis and you will have on hell of a fast and great handling sled. good looking too.
