I just bought a 08 Apex rx with 1500 miles, it looks like sliders are worn and I should have some tomorrow from Dennis Kirk but I don't have any owners manual, it looks basic like loosen the rear axel, adjuster and the screws, pull out the old ones and slide the new ones in.. Anything else?? 5 miles and I love the Apex!!!

Get the Pioneer kit that raises the wheels 5mm. Well worth the money and easy install!

Welcome to the blue side!!!
The slides are wore out when you can slide a 10 mm over them .They wear down fast to 12 mm and slow down from there!!!

Just be careful with the 6mm screw at the front of the slides. Make sure the slide and the hole is lined up perfectly. Very easy to crossthread. A T handle screw driver also helps if the screw is very tight.

You may have to open up a track window to give the hyfax clearance. Also if not on the new ones you may want to cut a few grooves on top of the fronts to help them bend up the rail towards the screw.

Welcome to the site!!!!
Keep the tension on the track as loose as you can with out ratcheting and run Hyfax Saver wheel in the front at the rail bend and you should be good to go in this crappy season we are having.

Spray one of the windows up with Silicone spray, force about 2" thru with a big flat screw driver and then put it in reverse and EASE it off with the sled running. Remember the rail screws need to be removed 1st

You can have about 1" of sag with no pull and it will normally be pretty good.
