Recently purchased an 07 Apex, got an Ulmer Racing clutch kit on the way, talked to Alan personally, nothing but good things to say, great guy.
Anyways, other mods to be done on these Apexs? New to them, have had a couple Vmax 700s, 98 SRX, and a 2000 SRX which I just sold. All were great sleds, not really any problems with em.
So go ahead guys, give me the lowdown on what I can do to this Apex, reasonable $$ of course, no turbo...yet...lol

how many miles are on the new ride I had one of them before the xtx I have now great sleds. Plenty of know things to stay on top of in the off season. If you take care of them now you will have a trouble free season.

I bought at dealership, skid was gone through, any ? bearings replaced, jackshaft bearings replaced, front suspension checked, all tight, had an oil change, and new carbides installed as well. 7700 miles on it, elderly man owned it, traded it in for a new Vector with power steering. It is clean, track like new. Got it for $3150.

Suspension seems good, relatively speaking, haven't ridden it, but it seems to act as it should...all I can really say.
Oh, thanks for compliment! Can't wait to try it out! Have had friends own Apexs, but never tried one out. Just unloading it, the electric start and reverse is AWESOME! Throttle response is quite different too, very responsive.

Unless you ride in Florida, you are going to freeze with that micro windshield. Otherwise, nice looking sled!

I've heard that, but I have good gear, and generally am practically sweating when I ride. No, I'm not overweight...lol Just ride fairly aggressive. 5'7" 165lbs. I never used warmers on my other sleds, never needed em. Not to say this might be a different ballgame with this machine.

Do yourself a favor don't ride a 2011 or newer apex and stay away from boost both are instant addiction.Suspension seems good, relatively speaking, haven't ridden it, but it seems to act as it should...all I can really say.

A friend of mine bought an 2011 xtx, told me his 03 rx1 is decent response, his 06 Apex is good, but 2011 on up are best...lol
Is there noticeable power difference from 2011s on up, or just more response? Better handling?
Exactly what his text said to me...now I hear it from you!

It's all good. I have a larger windshield on my xtx and love it. To each their own!I've heard that, but I have good gear, and generally am practically sweating when I ride.
