Hell, if I had an aluminum welder and a shop with bits and pieces laying around...
I would have already welded up the tunnel protectors and run coolant through them.

It work's great never once did I see him chipping ice under his sled. Watched it all season last year. I was going to run one under mine this year but sold the sled. If someone is tired of the big block's of ice thats the way to get rid of it for good.

It's in the same position as the factory protectors. Do you have issues with your studs hitting them now? If you do something is not right on your sled. The rear cross bar is tucked way up in the corner on this, if studs hit that then the whole rear of the tunnel would be all scared up in no time.
