hi all and looking forward to future readings and discussions, have 3 phazers run 2 every year with my son, tried to start the 2007 GT today its -10C, outside covered storage new battery, well it cranked and cranked but nothing other than gas smell.
pulled it into shop to warm up and after much cranking it started but rough, ran it around yard them back in shop, its sat close on 4 years, syphoned gas out roughtly 2 1/2 gallons, dark color and not much smell, next checked oil, it was way over pulled close to 3/4 litre out, its thin, dark ans super runny, possibly gas in it from cranking.
using a suction tank pulled it all out, and next add new oil, I have no manual available but am I correct 0-20 synthetic work, have to pick some up, given what I pulled out im thinking a couple literes should be emough though I will grab a couple gallon jugs for the other machines.
reverse worked when running it around but later quit working, after sitting in shop it worked, reading 1800 rpm is the magic number, this was idling at 2400.
great meeting all, hopefully out riding tomorrow and Happy New yeras to all

I use the oil filters that fit the Apex, but they have to be installed through the lower opening in front of clutch.
They are easier to get a tool on as they are taller.

Greetings. They can be a slow crank but sitting for that long is certain to make it more difficult.
The OEM filter is 5DM-13440-00-00. This changes to a NAPA 41358 or NAPA 21358 per their site. I use OEM though I am sure the others would be okay.
The manual calls for 0W-30 for all temps. I can send you the file but it will not attached here(too large).
