Here is the new "Yamaha" haha. We couldn't buy a new Yammi or Cat anywhere within 500 miles, so this is what we went with. We stripped it down of its cheesy decals and "Yamaha'd" it... Kids love it and it has electric start!

We are going to add a decal and or lightning bolt or stripe or something on the side, but can't decide what to call it yet.

Viper Mini or Vmax 125.

/\ And your signature pic just gave me some ideas LOL

Its actually a Nordik NKM 125. Saved A LOT of cash going this route...

You have a nice job done on it, congrats, enjoy! I bet your kid loves it!

You know what, looking at that last pic, yamaha were the first 1 with rider forward ergos, they are the ones that should sue brp for patent infrigment
Polaris too for stealing the "rush" concept for putting the rear shock outside of the track .... BTW works great on the Sno Sport.
How about independent front suspension without trailing arm ... not sure who was first out of gate with production model for that one but the Sport in picture is a 1990!

This is why I question Yamaha's decision to move to Cat for design ... the Sport was waaaaaaay ahead of its time.

Is that a sled from Yamaha or other manufacturer? man my son would love that (hec me too)

I bought it direct from these guys. Their English was good enough that we had no problems with buying it and getting it freighted to our house.

I expected some quirks/quality issues given the price compared to the Yamaha/Cat sleds, but overall I have no complaints. There are a few things you might want to be aware of, let me know if you're curious and I will explain.

I could have found a used cat/yam/pol locally, but honestly a lot of them looked like they were beat to crap, probably ridden by kids much too big for them. So we went out on a limb and got this one. As I mentioned before we were going with the Yamaha but no dealer in sight could get us one, totally sold out

1990 & 1991 Yamaha Sno Sport 125 cc single cylinder about as quick as a Bravo .... long track mod / plastic skis / phazer headlight cowling and plastic skis ... beats the heck out of any other OEM kids sled! Yamaha was way out front with this design!
