Very intressting! Especially the track swap. Is this the track used by Arctic Cat on Firecat/Sabercat EXT's? Camoplast 1602-433 or 1602-750?
Do you have any (real world) weight figures of that track? I've seen retailers (Ken's Sports Inc being one) list it at 34 lbs wich is a lot less then the Freeride 136".

What extensions will you use and will it be possible to fit 8" rear wheels?

Will you use 9 or 10 tooth drivers? A quick calculation gives that the 8 tooth+2" track combo on the MTX builds about as much as 10 tooth+1.25" from the center of the drive shaft. Some people are running 1.75" tracks with std 9 tooth drivers (which would build a little bit more vs 8 tooth+2"), apparently without any clearence issues.

I plan to use Camoplast track 1602-750 with Tracks USA 121-144 rail extensions which have a 2 degree kick up built into them. This is setup for just the standard stock wheel size. Not available for 8" wheels without using an offset axle kit. We will build our own tunnel extension for the kit and run the standard 9 tooth drivers.

Just got the track in and it weighed 34 lbs once unpackaged. That's even less than the 121" Freeride track and this is a 144"!

Please keep us posted. with pics and updates please. I just ordered a 136" and now wondering if I should have gone big!!!

Ordered a bumper off of a Mountain Lite. We will fab our own tunnel extension out of aluminum here.
