New RnR trailer

Looks like you got the 7' wide, with the tires outside of the trailer. This will be the limiting factor as the width of sleds is much greater in just the past 5 years, specifically the tunnel/foot wells. In mine I can get the sleds front to back when side by side and it's pretty tight. You may still be able to do this but you'll have to shift the back of the sleds as far to the side as possible. My 24' will hold five this way, four 136's and a MTX up front in the nose. They are nice trailers, I've had a few things that have bothered me but again for the price I guess I can't complain. A comparable Triton or Legend was about 5g's more I think. The issues I have/had are the side markers on the fenders didn't make it two years. I replaced with LED's and it seems good. The screws that hold the diamond plate are starting to rust; there is a ton, so I'm planning a trip to Fastenal to replace with stainless. Some other fasteners (the door locks) are rusting, the premium package was suppose to have all stainless hardware, well at least most of it seems to be. Like I said, some small things nothing major and over all I'm satisfied. I've use it for multiple things, even as a B.I.W. transport. I would recommend putting some never seize on the hub covers, the bolts that are in there corroded and I had to drill and helicoil. Better yet, replace with stainless.

Dan - or anyone else familiar with R&R trailers - First, nice looking trailers guys. Second, I have a question.

I am looking to go from a two place snowmobile trailer and a 18 foot landscape trailer, to a one-size-fits-all, enclosed. I need to be able to hold at least 3 and possibly four sleds in the winter and then haul my Kubota tractor around all summer(plow with it in winter as well). I take care of not only my property but my fathers and grandfathers as well.

My concern is the floor of the trailer holding the weight of the tractor. With only four contact patches and over a ton and a half of tractor, I would imagine that the standard spacing for the floor beams will need to be modified at the very least. Do you think R&R would be willing to modify so that I don't have to worry about over stressing one area of the floor? I also need heavy duty D-rings or something like the adjustable channel that Triton uses to tie the tractor securely and also the sleds.

I can figure out the correct size for the sleds, which will take a larger footprint than the tractor so no worries there.

Any help is appreciated. The pricing sure is attractive. I've already checked out triton and I'm looking at the price of a new apex for one. I like quality, but price is important as well. Thanks again.

Call Randy at R&R.
They will do whatever you need or want to do. He's great to work with.

Sweet trailer Dan!!
I know the place very well. We have a customer in Three Rivers. I always check out all the trailers when we go buy. Enjoy the new trailer.

Dan, got any pics with the 2 sleds inside?
