NEW RX-1 owner needs advise

A couple more questions....................

I did NOT get an owners (or any other) manual with the sled. Should I buy one, or just get a service manual??

Also, are the service manuals "ON CD" any good, or should I stick to the "PAPER" version?

And does anyone know, do the RX1s come with front heatexchanger PROTECTORS?

Mine has then on it, and I'm wondering if they were added or original equipment.
