I attached some pics of the new goodies for this year, pilot 6.9 skis, a zr900 sno pro 1.375 track and some ski doo extroverts. Hoping to improve my off trail abilities a bit, just waiting for snow :yam:

Nice setup.

No more ratcheting, darting and more traction.

Were you able to re-use the stock yamaha ski loops? Either way, skis look cool.

yes those are the yamaha loops, the bottom of the loop is wider so I had to trim a little off each for it to fit but even used the yamaha bolts for the loops. I like the look of the skis too, I was worried cause they are almost 2 inches wider than the yammie skis but once bolted on I think they are nicer than the stockers. Cant wait to try it now :letsnow:

I hope so...........I decided on it because for the most part of the year I trail ride but in march theres alot of off trail riding. I wanted something better than the ripsaw off trail but still perform good on trail. Most of the larger lug tracks seem to have softer paddles for off trail usage. This track is quite stiff and I know the firecats hook up like mad with this style track regardless of the surface. Plus for 350 shipped to my door I figured it was a hell of a deal.

Well I got to go for a ride tonight, we got around 8 inches of snow thursday. I am very pleased with this setup. Its nice to nail the sled from a dead stop with transfer set to max and not hear the track ratchet. This track hooks up like crazy. Hardpack trail its nuts and when you pull off in the soft stuff I can stand it straight up like nothing. They dont call it a quiet track for nothing........no howling anymore.

what tool's do use to remove and install xtrverts ?

you need a shop press to press them on and off the shaft. I am trying to get the measurements for them, I am going to see the guy whose shop I used to install them tommorow so I am going to get the measuremnts from him.

How did those ski's track in the stuff you've been riding in? Are they making their own path or are they hunting and following ruts?

Very little darting, mainly at slow speeds. We got some rain too so the snow is very crusty. There alot better than the stockers for sure. I really like the way they work off trail in the crust. I found the stock skis to be tippy when they broke through the crust.
