New singleshot suspension any one tried it yet?

I've read somewhere Yamaha might have ELKA shocks under them in the future! Let hope ! because I know there a great shock setup. I was praying for the best out of this suspension. Lets hope they figure this out soon!

can't wait to see what others think, i average 5000 miles a year, change sleds each year, coming of a 1200 renegade X, 800 renegade X, F8 LXR, Vector LTX, Apex LTX, summit 600 sdi, ATTAK 2006, Dragon 700, and some polaris 700 twin in the Edge Chassis... but my first (and last) experience with Fox Floats... the 700 Dragon in 2009 had Ryde FX air shocks, and where also crap..so air reservoir unless multiple adjustments at all levels possibly, are just one dimensional... so not for me..
I have been into drag racing for 35 years and there are shock company's that can handle door cars that weight 2500 pounds with 3000 hp and less and leave with so much torque pressure yet they cant find shocks that work on sleds that weight 800 pounds . It all comes down to money, Fox is the K Mart of shocks. And don't get me wrong Yamaha makes the best sled out there , I just bought a new one but if we are spending 15.000 and we have to update the hand warmers, shocks ,ski's , each new model year ,that's ridiculous.

I will be trying my 16 XTX LE out in West Yellowstone the next 3 days. Will make sure to report back. Riding with a bunch of mustard wagons!

Hope you got a tow rope. They'll need it!

Must be some more feedback for the Single-Shot by now. Super have you made any adjustments for improvements? Greatwhite89?
No snow up here in New England horrible start to the season my sled just sitting in the garage 0 miles on it

I put my air pressure down to 200psi (from 250) but haven't had a chance to ride it since that point. Need snow! At 250 it was too stiff, for sure.

Hand warmers are awesome, ski's are a personal preference, Air shocks sometimes leak.

Now that the Sidewinder is all the talk, I wonder if any improvements were made on this rear skid being it hasn't got the best reviews?

Any there any more feed back on the xtx single shot or has anyone tried a different shock or any mod bin done to get a better ride from this skid

I have about 2,000 miles on the skid now and although it took a while to find the right PSI, I'm really happy with it. Unfortunately, the last trip I ran into trouble with it. The shock blew out and I limped it to the nearest dealer. They replaced the shock, but 20 miles from my trailer it blew again....needless to say it's back at the dealer. 2,000 trouble free miles, last 100 not so good!
