new sled

hey just got a new 08 apex ltx gt i find that it builts up alot of ice in the tunnle and it almost rubbing on the track is the normal.aslo it seems to be a bit darty in gromed trails whats the best way ppl are fixing htis on the sled new skis ? play with the ski pursure? duals thatns for the help

Bergstrom 8" triple carbides, ski savers and 3/8" shim. One hole on the limiter strap and you will be in heaven.

Snowtrackers are also supose to fix it.

I did the bergstroms and I had the same issue and I am happy with mine now.

I had a local window shop bend me up a piece of aluminum to cover the exhaust and so far it works great!(I made it 22" long,it covers the alum cross link at the rear of the tunnel too) As for the darting, I tried the 2" pipe fix that is posted at the top of this page. 80% better!!

good d\idea....can you post a pic??? what about heat build upunder the seat?

I will post pictures tonight. Heat build up has not been a problem but I haven't ridden in any warm temps yet.
