New 11 Apex. Need to get to work fixing the darting. Help?

I will say it again.

If you want to go with snowtrackers on the 2011 Apex skis then only go with semi aggressive.

If you want the best handling go with extreme and the 2010 skis. I am sure you can find those cheap as everyone likes buying different skis.

I would appreciate this info as well. Not sure why it has to be sent via PM rather than on the thread, but either way, could someone enlighten me?

It's a shame that there are still threads on how to eliminate the darting on Yamaha sleds. Why can't Yamaha work these bugs out at the factory before passing it onto the consumer? They would keep the owners a whole lot happier (and longer) if they did.

My thoughts exactly. At least it's not too expensive, but agreed. The most expensive machines on the market should not leave the factory the way they are. My Doo with the stock 4" single runners doesn't dart right out of the box. I planned to get duals on it at the time of purchase. I even bought them along with the deal. They happened to be backordered and after one ride I called and canceled them. Just wasn't bad enough to spend $175 on. I figure I will replace them when they are worn with duals. The Yamaha after the first ride, I spent hours on this forum trying what to order ASAP it was so bad.

How do the trackers hold up versus duece bars. I have to ride a minimum of 10 miles of dirts roads to get to my trails. These roads are usually frozen with a light skim of ice/snow on them. I got a feeling I would heve these things wore down in no time. Currently have Stud Boy deuce bars and they hold up remarkably well. Would be willing to try a set of Trackers if they will hold up.

I would say they do about the same if not better.

That would be a challenge for any carbide imo, can you not trailer to there?

Not really any where to trailer to. When the conditions are right it is pretty decent but many times the plow boys have the roads scraped pretty good. There are several spots to jump into farmers fields and I try to dip into the banks often. My carbides look surprisingly good. I live between two trail systems.

Yes.
Worked great on the trail for handling along with my other adjustments but not so much on the drag strip. Went back to 1hole up , good for Both.
