I guess anything is possible just have not seen it yet among any I have ridden with. I tend to take the conservative approach because I know how it feels to be spending $ with unrealistic numbers. If it makes you feel better poor speed conditions effect every brand so as long as you stick to running with equal or close to equal guys they will be feeling the disappointment of it at same time even worse in some cases. Last year was a freshly groomed perfectly flat loooong stretch but it was warm and mushy. Could feel snow hitting tunnel. Buddy on 800 cat could only get 75 mph pinned for miles. I saw 80. Pulled away from him. Was bored though. Seemed like perfect opportunity to giver. Just nothing there.
