2009 Yamaha Nytro XTX
Going from a 2002 sx viper to a 09 Nytro xtx. I traded the 02 in for the 09 Nytro with 2yr yes warranty from local Yami Dealer. Nytro serviced by local dealer and 1 owner. Anything to look out for that is common issues? I know it is a totally different sled but what is it going to be in comparison?

How many miles?
Keep an eye on front end bushings and ball joints. Other than that not much to worth about on the nytro!
What track is on it, fully clipped? If it still has the ripsaw and you don't intend on changing tracks do yourself a favor and at least clip the rest of the open windows, it will make a huge difference on slide life.
I have over 14,000km on mine with no intentions of getting rid of it anytime soon!

as stated above plus exhaust donuts and tweaked sub-frame (shocks should be centered front to back in top A arm otherwise it is tweaked)

Has fully clipped open ripsaw, DuPont slides with marginal snow kit. Dealer said going to go thru it. 6k on sled.

Yeah at 6000 km exhaust donuts will need to be done if they haven't already.
If you replace them order the copper replacements from sled toyz and forget about them.

I was riding a 98 SRX before I switched to my 11 Nytro XTX . I ride mostly trails. The Handling of the Nytro was something I wasn't ready for, very unstable, tippy.

Before I bought it I was hoping it would handle more like my SRX but be much smoother in the bumps with the Nytros extra travel. I eventually got it sorted but it took some time and effort. The 1.5" Camoplast cross over track, Fox 18.25" long front shocks, Hygear torsion spring spacer and the JRE Spindle were the best upgrades to get the handling sorted. The rest of the sled has been great.

I just bought a new to me nytro and have been replacing parts ever since.. exhaust donuts, front end bushings, idler wheel bearings, etc. About the same mileage too (6400)

Moved from an '03 Renegade 800 to the '13 Nytro XTX 1.75. Probably no snow for another month so I'm getting ready for snow and making it my own right now. The riding position, fit, and motor are what sold me. Looking forward to the season, and selling the Renegade.

I found the riding position very similar to my 2007 mxz 440x (higher seat than normal rev) I have pilot skis, in soft heavy snow it would push pretty bad, but most sleds with our group would those days also.

Suspension settings are very sensitive on the nytro, and can take some time to get sled set up right for you. Good you tube video on the xtx, just search around

Looking forward to this season. Sounds like I am going to relearn to ride? Dealer went right thru sled and replaced all worn parts. They said they have to in order to give the YES warranty thru Yamaha?
