I have a 2008 Apex LTX GT, with PCIII fuel and ignition w/ hub. It is clutched with ulmers stage 2. I recently installed a holtzman kit w/ 40 hp shot. I just used it this past weekend and not really happy with its performance. When the system kicked on, i felt absolutely no boost. I have checked all wires and hoses everything is good. I programmed the nitrous to kick on at 95% throttle and at 10,000 rpm. Any suggestions. Thanks

if it was working, you'd feel it.
Have you tested the nitrous with the sled off? Be sure to verify fuel flow from the fuel sprayers too!

10k activation seems high to me. My 50 shot comes in at WOT regardless of RPM. Hits and pulls hard. It's a direct port N.O.S. system though.

I am still trying to get mine dialed in, lack of snow now. After e-mailing holtzman we determined I was dumping too much fuel. I was set as per instructions, but for safety sake they have you intentionally start too rich. My guess would be you are dumping too much fuel as well. E-mail them, they were very helpful. When I hit the button it fell flat on its face and then kicked in. Big problem when extra boost is needed on a hill. Hopefully this weekend I will get a chance to re-adjust and try out with better results. Good luck

You felt no boost something is really wrong. Even if too rich you should be getting some boost. Was your bottle freezing cold? Can you get it to spray with a switch and not the TPS thing?

Check the line going to the nozzle, after you put the air box in you can't see it anymore so maybe it's getting kinked or your fitting was loose and you lost all your nitrous check the bottle weight.

I worked on getting mine dialed this weekend. I would guess it is darn close. It does not hit real hard but is a pretty seamless transition from top end w/o N2O to bouncing off the rev limmiter when the button is hit. Maybe one of you guys with more experience can tell me if this sounds about right for what it is supposed to be doing. It is a Holtzman kit with a 30 hp nozzel on an 08 Phazer MTX.

everything was tight (lines and connectors) and no loss of nitrouscanapex said:Check the line going to the nozzle, after you put the air box in you can't see it anymore so maybe it's getting kinked or your fitting was loose and you lost all your nitrous check the bottle weight.

When I originally installed it i went a quarter turn more on the fuel nozzle to be safe. Considering its rich to begin with per instructions i must be very rich. whats yours set at?

My instructions said to set it at 2 turns out. I e-mailed Holtzman and they said to take it out a little more and make sure it is too rich then start back in. Their computer said for my set up it may be down to 1/4 of a turn out. Currently I am at 3/8 of a turn out. I don't want to go any leaner until I get the the 10's in for spark plugs and add an O2 sensor. I know some people say there is no need for an O2 sensor, but I sure would like to know what is going on in there. I did seat of the pants testing with my buddy on sunday. we would go about an 1/8 of a turn at a time and make a pass. We kept this up until at 3/8 of a trun there was no real hesitation and it was bouncing off the rev limiter. I wish I would have had it dialed like it is earlier in the day when we were climbing. I ran into a hill and heavy snow where it was a good thing I could traverse out at the top. What little I know I would make little adjustments, try it and keep adjusting.

I have always used a WIDEBAND O2 sensor. I have sprayed as RICH as 9 to 1.....it may have been richer, but the gauge doesn't go lower!
I run mine at 11 to 1. Leaner gets me no more speed in the radar runs.
scuba, set your nitrous to hit at 7500 at WOT.
If you gain rpm above stock, then it is hitting.
Get a WIDEBAND.
