I'm looking to put a new track on my '06 apex er this year, I've been doing alot of trail riding, lake racing, radar runs, etc.. but I'm also into taking off through the powder every once in a while too. I've been looking into a few different options but want to get some other opinions, so what do you guys think I should go with?

Well your options are really only between the Cobra and the Carve (predator).
My preference is the carve(predator) however the cobra brakes better. Both do well in the powder and on the trail.
I have had both in a 121" 1.25" with 144 studs and they are close with only minor differences. Some say the cobra is 'soft' or not durable I had no durability issues with mine and that was a on Supercharged apex.
Which ever one you find the better deal on go for it, they are nice.

I love my cobra,(vs factory ripsaw), but just know that it will eat a few MPH off the top end. It also will hook-up better on accel.....so you will be way out front in a short to medium length race.
You also may need to reclutch for the added drag, I did.

I think I'm gonna go with the 1.25" predator. I've been hooked on radar runs so I don't wanna loose to much speed. Thanks for the info guys!

Althoug sleddog66 says he's lost a little top end, I also have the Cobra, but I've got an XTX skid in my Apex and I've actually gained a little top end. I'd vote Cobra all the way, with the only drawback I've noticed is a little less side bite in the hard corners. I like it that way, but some don't. I've had the Cobra on a few of my sleds, and can't see any reason for me to try anything else.

Well if you're not losing any top end then that sounds like the better way to go, the extra traction in the start would be nice

I lost top end on my supercharged sled with the cobra as well. Roughly 5 mph.

Can you still buy a brand new carve/predator track 1.25"x 121"?

I had a 1 inch predator on the old rx-1 great track very durable. When its time for a track change on the apex the predator 1.25 inch will be my choice.
