Really? I was hoping it to be firmer...especially after reading reviews on other WRP customers.
It is firmer then an 06-10 model, but seems softer then a 12-14 model to me. I wish is was as firm as my old Boss seat I had on my 06 back in the date. The height does help though. Especially in the bumps with a taller riser.... The quality is still great, and so is th storage. It's just not as dense as I would like. Would love Yamaha to come up with a seat similar to the Doo racing seat

i really enjoy my wrp seat have about 1000 miles on mine, I will say I wish it was a little firmer but if it was firmer I wouldn't want it firmer but much. I'd say its a 9 out of 10, but fit and finish and quality is a 10 of 10.

bought the last one on ebay yesterday for a friends and also ordered a seat foam for my apex.
The woman on the phone said they would be listing some more at that price later when they come in.

They told me they will not be putting the older version on sale at any time as they sell fast, and lots.
this sale was to get a bunch out there on a slow mover to get people trying them and talking about them. let you friend try it kind of advertising.
they also said the nitro seat will not go on sale either.

Got my seat after only 2 weeks...impressive considering customs and all. The seat foam is about the same firmness as stock, but certainly taller. I won't know how it feels until I get the sled back together...gotta replace the EXUP cables and a new track is needed.
The seat cover was surprisingly easy to install...certainly helpful to have a pneumatic stapler...a definite must.

Installed my friends saturday
Foam fit decent but was a little rough on the edges. I used a, new to me, 3m90 spray adhesive. Stay away from this. I have been using Stay-put brand for years and will again.
Cover was made of decent materials. The way the did the glove box cover looks far better than the crappy flap yamaha made, though yamaha had a better way to attach the opening.
A quality note. The cover was done ok, but, there were stop starts in the middle of a panel, some pieces were sewn off center or not even which made it hard for me to get the rear to look centered. No, it is not me, I have installed hundreds of seat covers for our dealers locally over the years. The back of the seat is very complicated with many lines all coming toward a point. I wish they had done a better job with the sewing. Though, still satisfied. Not so bad I would return it.
Friend rode it 60 miles last night. He liked the feel and ride but said he really needs higher bars now and he noticed his windshield is now not high enough.
All in all, a great deal and a good product. When done, I Think on this model, it looks better than the factory seat. Now to get mine mounted to a pan and have a cover made.

The foam that came with mine has a few divets in the sitting area so they are sending a new one. Not to fond of the unfinished foam look when you open the trunk either but I'm gona fix that up. I bought a used seat so I don't have to butcher up the factory seat.

I finally got the replacement WRP foam and did the install. Its actually better than I expected. Feels just about right with the mountain riser. I have a WRP foam, stock foam and a stock silver and black seat cover for sale if anyone is interested.

Metallicat the WRP seat fits the vector perfectly!
