I am looking at buying my first Yammi. I going to look at 2 sleds tomorrow.
2007 Attack and 2007 ApexGT
I do not know what the difference between the two sleds are.
I ride 90% groomed trails. thanks in advance

Attack is a 136" track. If it isn't a GT it is standard all the way around as far as shocks go. The Apex GT will have more adjustable higher quality shocks up front and an electronic adjustable Ohlins. In the end you will have to give everyone some more info. so they can help you make a the right decision. Namely where and how you ride. Condition of the sleds is a factor too. We own both variants both are a blast to ride.

attak is a 136" apex.
I would get the Attak, the 136" will give you better traction, bridge the bumps better and actually faster top end.
The Apex Gt will have the GYTR clicker shocks up front but the 136" Attak is a better option in my book!

I see you ride groomed trails. Tight?

Both have the same motor.
The Attak has a 136 inch track, the GT has a 121 track.
The GT has an upgraded shock package GYTR front shocks and electronic Ohlins rear shock. The attak has standard shocks all around and a dial adjustable rear shock.
Either would be fine for groomed trail riding. The 136 inch track will bridge bumps better but may not perform as well in tight trails, although people who own them say the turn just fine. I assume the other 10% is off trail boondocking or playing in fields, which suits the 136 inch better.
Depending on the prices and condition, they are pretty equal. If you're mostly on trail, I'd lean to the GT for better shock package.

I ride in Maine. I am an average rider and do not care if I am the fastest guy on the trails. I ride 10-20 percent lakes 80-90 trails. I ride a lot of time buy myself so I want something reliable and that is why I want a 4 strike and therfore a Yammi

lol pretty funny, we all replied at the pretty much the same time!
I've never had enough seat time on the attak's to give a good opinion on their ride so I'll defer to guys who have..

Both those sleds will be excellent and very similar riding, a 121" versus a 136". Usually I like 136" better myself, but your choices include a GT version. I'd personally go that route and get the GT for the more adjustable shock package on the Apex GT, but they are both excellent sleds. You really can't go wrong with either sled tho.

One more quick question what is the difference on the ER package?

Shocks on ER not as good as GT but ok & 136 way better ride than 121. 121 only if riding the tightest trails & 136 is better choice. I too ride alone 90% of time & you will luv Yam 4s will get you home every ride. Attak GT 136 would be your best bet.

For trail riding I would go with the better shocks of the GT.
If you think the Attak was taken better care. After a season if you feel you need better shocks you can usually find a pair of GYTR shocks for around $400 and have the rear shock re-valved for your riding style and wieight for less then $100.
Then I would change everything about the sled so it would do what I want it to do and burn money like mad and break it the first trip of the season, but thats me
