Over the last few days 8 to 12 inches of snow more in some areas and a little less in some. Rode 100 miles today and for the most part good. Trail 2 from Ironwood to Marenisco was good to very good trail needs to be brushed on the west side of Marenisco so pay attention or you will get slapped by a branch. From Marenisco to Presque Isle was good corners were blown out by the Joe racers but not bad at all. From Presque Isle we headed to Mercer and back home on trail 17. Wisconsin trails ranged from poor to fair as most were not groomed yet. Overall a very good ride, forecast is calling for colder temps and more snow so maybe winter is finally here we can only hope. Trails are the best they have been all season even after the warm up we had over the weekend. Sam

Mercer trails usually SUCK - local groomers KNOW people are coming no matter what....very sad!
