I have been riding a whole 31 miles on new to me nytro due to no snow :o| I have the front strap set in one hole tighter than stock and seemed ok with 4 inch carbides. I just installed begstrom 8 inch triple points with ski savers and shimmed ski rubber. I have 192 studs in a rtx and weight 250lbs. Begstrom said stock setting on strap and that makes me nervous because on all my polaris sleds i ran strap tight so you have little ski lift in hard fast turns and seemed to stick so i could run in control in the corners. I am the only yamaha in our group of 9 riders and i gotta "LOOK GOOD" My big issue is we are leaving to go to the U.P. of Mich. the end of the month and no snow to test. Any thoughts about this would be great :rocks:

Brian ;)!

I have powder pros with 7.5 and the strap up one hole seems to work well . Im also running pol weight trans blocks so i get less trans

I weigh about the same geared up - maybe 230. Mine is stock with the set up on my sig and I think it works great.

stock strap....less ski pressure then u have...easier steering with my simmons gen 1s.
stock skis you may want to leave it tight...those skis suck!!! 35 miles and they were off my sled.
stockers push like a mofo.
not the simmons. goes where i point it and with body english i can powerslide it in soft snow.
