Hi all second ride out this year on my 2006 apex er wow what a machine works fine except for 1 stupid rattle in the front end on the left side almost sounds like how the brake dics on the doos use too i checked everything is tight iam thinking maybe engine brake has some sort of ting ting ting to it its really weird i no this is a hard ? but any input would be appreciated thxs guys ............

If your new to Yami's its suprising how loud the primary clutches are..... I know the Vector of my wifes is very loud, even my Apex is louder than Im used to.

I think alot of us have commented on a lttle "buzzing" type of rattle from the front of our sleds. Mine sounds like a small metal clip or something rattling.

When I was doing an oil change on my Attak a couple weeks ago, I noticed when I had all the plastic off, you could tell where parts of the hood, belly pans, tank cowl and all that rub together. Small little wear marks. Some were plastic to plastic, some clip to plastic wear spots.
When re-assembling it, I took a bit of dielectric grease I had and put some on the spots where I could see parts rub together. I used that since it's clear and it was sitting next to me. Went for a 200 mile ride and no more little rattles (except for the clutch rattle).

when idling rev it till u hear the rattle then place hand on front grills in the hood, mine rattle between grill and hood, inside clips may be loose.
