Anyone seen a Phazer with NOS? Can it be done? It looks like kits are available and I was thinking this would be a great way for that extra bit of power. Thoughts?

i just installed nitrous on my phazer. I have a Holtzman kit and i'm running 45 horsepower shot. It can be done very easily and you can run different sized bottles in the front by the a-arms. Go with the Holtzman kit, you can use it in cold temperatures because it is not dependant on bottle pressure and it sprays at a constant rate of 300 psi.

Thanks! I have a feeling if we have a deep year next year my wife will want a bit more gusto for our local riding. Would love to hear how yours runs with the extra boost!

ill find out next year , never got a chance to try it out . when i installed the kit , we had bad snow conditions . With all the parts ive added i should be around 100 hp without nitrous and close to 150 with nitrous .

I have had it for two years on my phazer, fuuuunn!!! I just have a 30 hp shot on mine, but it makes it a lot more versatile. Let me know if you have any questions. :nos yes I do.

Shoprat, I was wondering how many miles you have on the sled? I'm a short track Phazer owner and I ride mostly trails... do you think that NOS would be equally beneficial for trail use? I rack up a lot of hours/miles and want to be sure that the motor will hold together.

I was also wondering, if one installed the kit and then removed it, how obvious would it be? I have warranty until 2013!

;)!

Sorry for not posting. Snw went away a long time ago and I have not visited the site in while. I think you would be fine with the kit on a train sled. I have not used it that much. It is fun when you are in a flat meadow or something messing arround. I can't say I have hit the button on the trail. I was always wanting to save the bottle for hills. I think you will love it. It is fairly inexpensive horsepower. There was a post last year in the NOS forum and there are some very intellegent guys out there. One was explaining the the mathmatical way a nitros system works and if set up correctly there is not much to damage the engine. Essentially it makes the engine more efficient. WHen you get ready to do the work, let me know, I would be glad to help you. :nos :nos :nos

How long will a bottle last of nos. How many rides or miles can you get before having to refill?
