JUST GOT AN E-MAIL FROM SETH SAYING THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE TANK FOR MTX MODELS. THEY BUILT THE TANK OFF A RTX AND THERE ARE SOME PROBLEMS WITH OTHER MODELS AS WELL AS THE 09'S. ANYONE COME ACROSS THIS?

Depends on what the issue is.
Mine was a PITA to fit and I am not entirely happy with the final fitment.

Yeah I have the problem with the coolant hose impedance, also the o ring not sealing problem, used a gasket maker to solve the sealing problem and a little brute force and ignorance for the other problem.

SOunds like Seth better do something before this turns into bad advertising, and relationships. Before it spins out of control. My tank went in fine on my RTX, but a lot of the long track guys need the big tank more then us town to town guys. Good luck guys. Hope it works out

He has been nothing but a great help with mine. Hate to see stuff spread so fast. Give him a chance and he will help you. Seth is a good guy, and backs his stuff. Good luck guys

Seth has more than stepped up to the plate in my opinion.
I am guessing that a lot of the MTX guys were like me and never contacted Seth about our install problems. We were just happy to have the extra fuel capacity and if we didn't have the best fit, oh well.
From what I understand Seth acted quickly once he knew there was a real problem. He contacted me by pm and email. Communication is golden.

Yeah, anyone who thinks this is a scandal has not worked with Seth, I dont know him from Adam, but haver worked with him on my tank, and he has an IMPECCABLE reputation with me as a guy who will MORE than stand behind his product...
I have an MTX, and have a fit issue...HOWEVER, my MTX had no issue last year when I installed it...my issue is a problem I think I caused...So, not all MTX's have an issue...
but liek all problems there are more than one solution...I chose to keep my tank and alter the coolant line (read bend a little) to make it work...
is a great product and cant last a day in teh hills without the extra fuel his tank supplies....

I am not saying this is a scandal. Just don't want a little flaw to turn out to be something of a big deal for a good guy/good business. Love my tank on my RTX like I said. Seth is a great help when you ask or bring something to his attention. He got on it real quick when they forgot my tape, and o-rings. Great service!
