I am interested in that answer too. I went up to camp with my sleds and my friends were riding their Revs. We would blast 40 miles up the lake and back in powder and some slush. All of a sudden my sled would be bottoming out when hitting drifts.
I have a couple of boat winches on my boat house to winch up the rear of both my sleds. Every morning I would have to use a hammer to pound out a gazillion pounds of ice on both sleds and spin the tracks. There would be ice everywhere including the skids, bolts, idlers, you name it. I can only imagine how much the ice would weigh hence the reason for bottoming out all the time.
The revs would just fire up and drive away with clean tunnels and skids.
