- 2009 Yamaha FX NYTRO XTX 1.75
Wondering if anybody knows why Yamaha changed the sliding secondary sheave after 2009? I am doing a little research on the new 2013 XTX 1.75 and was looking at the parts fiche and noticed this change on the 2010 Nytro. As far as I can tell the differences on the XTX 1.75 are this secondary sheave(which has been changed since 2010) a drop in gearing 20-39 from 21-39 and the secondary spring is now white/white where it is white in my 2009. I was wondering what Yamaha did for the XTX with the addition of the 1.75 track, I may see how these things run this winter and make the same changes to my XTX since I also have the 1.75 back country. I dropped my gearing when I did the track swap so it looks like the only difference now is the secondary sheave and the spring. I hope someone I know gets a 2013 XTX so I can test side by side.
