While trying to sort some rb3 issues out the other day my turbo nytro started burning wicked amounts of oil. Pulled it into the shop fearing the worst (RB3 issues were causing it to go brutal lean) and pulled the turbo off first - there was oil in the intake and exhaust sides. Inspected a little further and found my return line was collapsed and plugged off so i changed it. While it was apart i plugged the oil lines and ran it without the turbo - zero smoke. Re-installed everthing and ran it
, it was smoking but not as bad. Went for a rip thinking it was residual oil in the exhaust housing, smoked a little on the ride but not bad. Slowed down to an idle and the smoke came rolling out (it was also worst at idle the first time). Has anyone had seals fail after they were pressured bad? I don't think it could be blow-by pressuring the seals cause that should get worse with load and boost. I have checked the oil tank vent and it is good :o|

you have a return line problem
if the oil backs up it will go past the seal
do you a return pump?

no return pump, five inch gravity feed tapped into the block, system worked great before the return line collapsed, thought the collapsed line was a simple fix,...
