atleast it was an easy fix, I just took my first ride on the turboed nytro pulls hard, I am alittle concerned with the a/f readings. 16,s in the mid called the dealer and he says its normal for the mcx kit. didn,t hold it wot due to the high readings in the mid, but he says they drop off if you hold it wot.

Seems to be the common problem with the Nytros so far. Keeping reasonable a/f's. We've seen high 15's low 16's quite often no matter what we did with the box. One buddy ran this way for at least 5 rides and rode the piss out of it, including myself. He pulled the head off the other day to put in a head shim and to our suprise, not detonation from runningthat lean. We were running good fuel though. and 14 psi max. Time to crank up the fuel pressure or run a 2:1, or even 3:1 adjustable fpr.

will its good to know it doesn,t seem to be a problem, I am still at 14 lbs. and running fuel, did you kit come with the additional fuel pump or are you just running the stock one.
I actually don't have one myself, I'm still on my rx1ton for this year. I've just been riding all my buddies I'll probably do one this summer. They are using the stock fuel pump.
I'm a little suprised the mcX set up is having similar problems. I thought they had it dialed.

Glad it was that easy to fix the smoking turbo
OK - I thought that was WOT readings, my mistake. My carbed RX-1 is at 14 or so mid throttle 10-12 lbs steady cruise on the lake. I guess the engine has very little load to it at 1/2 throttle.
Off topic, sorry about that
