LJ452 had to replace his on his Apex and he said it was a pain in the arse. He was there when we did our Nytro's and he said it was much easier.
It could be done in 1-2 hours.

The rear donut? I changed my muffler in twenty minutes. I justed ordered one since I was putting on a rear block off plate and they say you have to remove the exhaust. I ended up installing the rivets from the bottom so I didn't have to pull the exhaust. Anyways I looked at mine and it doesn't look like its leaking at all. I still have the new one just in case.

We replaced Lucky's as he said, his were actually ok, I would say about the halfway point. Skyboz's on the other hand, were toast. So the moral of the story as it was with the Apex, I would check them after the first year assuming you reach around 2000 miles. If they look brand new meaning there isn't any cracking in the compound their probably ok.
I plan to change mine out every year, I'll probably buy a full set of clamps to go with it and just rotate the clamps so that I can grind them later on and not delay the reassembly. The problem is there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to why or what causes the failure. Lucky and Skyboz are a perfect example, both sleds rode the same trails all year and still a drastic difference. Better to be safe then sorry.

Not the rear donut, it is the 3 donuts further up in the exhuast.
