Right side spindle was tipped about an inch forward compared to the other side

The dealer replaced the ball joints, they also installed the 09 sub-frame on mine.

I heard it's only the up-dated sub frame not an 09, unless you got a new front end also?

As I understand the 08 and 09 are the same except the 09 is reinforced. The geometry is the same on both................

This is correct. The 08 and 09 sub-frame's are the same geometry with the 09 being reinforced. The 08 part number for the sub-frame has been superseded by the 09 part number, so any replacement sub-frame you get should have the bracing on it.

The changes in the 09 front end were achieved by changing the control arms and spindles.
