Nytro Front Cooler Mod/Delete

I'm looking at running a 3 inch paddle track under a stock MTX 162 tunnel with 7 tooth avid drivers.

I know they're only a few companies that make a mod/delete kit for the nytro. Mountain performance, Impulse Performance, Cr Racing and Van Amburg Any others?

I'm really looking for someone that has a tested system thats currently working for them.

One other thing...

Do you see a dermedic difference between 2.5 inch and/or 3 inch paddle? I'm trying to justify the cost of a new track, tunnel cooler and heat exchanger modification.

I can tell you without a doubt, if your turboed the 3" won't hold together like the 2.5".
I had the 3" on my Nytro and by end of season i had 8-9 lugs missing. So now running the 2.5" for 2yrs no issues all lugs intact.
There are alot of other guys with the same problem, i know one that half way through the season replaced the 3" for another 3", still by end of season he had half a dozen lugs missing.

As for cooling the 3" will not cool your exchanger nearly as well as the 2.5" if your planning to do a rad delete. This can be a big issue when on a trail heading up to the alpine. Inclueding slider issues, its recommended to run 2sets of scratchers with 174 tracks.

The big advantage to the 3" is hookup on climbs, especially if your turboed, in most anything else its very debateble.
Disavantage, lugs go missing, heating is an issue and alot more vibrations on harder pack and COST.

The ability to climb and go slow is WAY easier with the 3". I ran all last year on my 3" and didn't have one missing lug and none torn like it was gona go missing. The 2.5 I had on before the 3" had been on for 2 years and it too had no missing or torn lugs. I really can't comment on the cooling, as I have the MPI tunnel coolers, rad delete, and a molded front cooler. The sled has never given me heating issues. I run only one set of slide kicks. Now I'll be putting a 174x3" under next week, because it wanted to wheelie to much when climbing on the 162x3". It was really fun to ride, but I just couldn't keep the front down to Climb bigger chutes. In the tighter stuff and not really steep it made the sled fun to whip around.
