is there an idle speed adjustment for the nytro. mine all of the sudden idles at 2300 rpm. i think the trottle body solinoid (idle speed controll unit) is bad. has anyone heard of this problem. throttle cable is not hung up, nothing is unplugged.

Is the sled already warm when it does this?

cold or warm it does it. its weird because it was good last year and i went to fire it up this year and the idle is high and code 37 is flashing. the code means idol speed control valve is stuck open.
This happened to mine once. Cold day, everything was iced up. Thawed it out in the shop and it was all good.
Not much help i know. It would be sweet if that fixed everything that goes wrong with it.

i wish that was my problem. i think the throttle body solenoid is broke for some reason. i cant test it till i can get back home and take the sled apart. gotta pull the seat, gas tank, ext to get to the idle speed control valve. if u pull off the left side panel u can reach it but there is no pulling it out or unpluggin it for testing. there is no room.

Check your wiring from the valve to the ECU. Rodents make summer time snacks out of wires and can cause this kind of problem.

Just throwin this out there but, did you treat your fuel system (stabil, seafoam or whatever)? This happened on my warrior a few years ago, at the beginning of a season. Ran some injector cleaner through it with a few easy runs and all was good. Now I just use Seafoam end of season and a lil bit on start up when season starts and have had no probs. FWIW.

Also make sure rodents have not chewed any intake boots, or that they don,t have any cracks in them. Have you had the intake off since you stored it ? Check to make sure they are all seated properly and the clamps are snug. If it is getting to much air it may run lean, which would make it idle higher.
