I'm assuming the tools are the same to take apart all of the Nytro's clutches for 2008....
I want to order the tools I need - but I've never done my own clutching, and my shop manual isn't in yet, but I'd like to get a head start and order the tools I will need.
I'm going to order them from www.royaldistributing.com if they have what I need.
Can you guys make a list of what's needed to both remove the primary and secondary and take them both apart? Just strictly speaking of tools that are required, not parts within the clutches themselves.
I'd like to sea-level my primary myself.
Thanks
YK

I am also new to this clutching thing but i have changed my primary with no special tools. I left the primary on, took out the six 10mm(?) bolts that hold the outer plate on and removed the spring. ( I did this in sequence around the clutch about a quarter of an inch at a time because there is pressure behind the plate from the spring) Once you have removed the spring you can slide the sheaves to get to the weights three bolts and six set screws to change the weights. I havent dug into the secondary yet but have heard it helps to advance the spring 10 degrees. I am not really sure how to do it but i dont mind tearing into it and learning.
