nytro PC3 maps, tuning

I just helped out a friend with his turbo install on his 08 Nytro, stage 1 10 psi at 10k elevation (equivalent to 6psi at sea level), gt2554, stock injectors, stock fuel pump, under tunnel intercooler, running a pc3 with the multifunction hub and a gm 3 bar map sensor but we don't have any base map to start with, any ideas on how much fuel you can add on the base map and the map sensor map before you max out the duty cycle of the stock injectors? he doesn't want to spring for the lcd display so we can't really see the duty cycle in real time, nor datalog.

Nice charge tube, guess it will help big time in cooling the compressed air before it enters the engine.

where did you pick up the tubing? the cooling fins are sweet.

we searched a long time for tubing that had fins on the inside and outside, ended up finding finned oil cooler tubing from a seller on ebay, tubing is 2"I.D. , wall is about .090 and is 30" long, not sure just how efficient it will be but with cold snow on it all the time I would think it would transfer a lot of heat. don't need much at only 10psi

Install looks really good! You should have no problems with fuel system keeping up 10# @10k. I have been running my PCV up to 10 psi at 2500 feet without a problem using torco accelerator for det protection.

That turbo at those altitudes will be getting close to the top of it's efficiency range. So keep that in mind with any higher boost levels.

The other advantage of a lcd display is the ability to store multiple maps. It has helped me make my map a lot.

yeah, Ive run the gt2554's on quite a few sleds, works great up to about 10-12psi up here with short bursts of 14 and even at that level heat is an issue if your not careful.
being a mostly stock sled other than the turbo, there really isnt much need for more than 10psi unless we get this thing on a serious diet and get a longer track,
this pic shows what I got for the boost ref map, what do you guys think? am I in the ballpark?
