Nytro problem! Dies when reaching 3200-3500 rpm (SOLVED!!!)

i would guess the rag was placed in there to prevent dirt from entering, i have done it myself spent a bit of time taking the eng components checking stuff out, found the rag jammed in the turbo snail.

the road to hell is paved with good intentions

Props for throwing that pic up and admitting to it. Most would have lied about it.

We all jam shop clothes everywhere and it isn't too hard to forget one. Glad to hear all is well.

rags

hey this is hilarious! Thought I lost my enjine in a jeep cherokee one time, all the pinging and clinking under my hood, drove it on to my friends garage lifeted the hood and there was an old oil rag wrapped up in the belts.
At least its a cheap repair!

Priceless!

I wouldn't remove the blue air flow disruption mechanism I have heard it raises horsepower by a minimum of 30 and track speed by 20 while climbing. ;)!

Hahahahahaha been there done that LOL mine stumbled at 5000 rmps hahahahahaha I had forgotten a cotton rag inside the IC

Hahaha, there's only one way to learn and that's the hard way. It only took about an hour of wrenching before the sled was fully assembled and running. I have heard some horror stories when they have torn cars to bits over and over again before finding a piece of paper in the IC

It doesn't take much to disturb the air flow by a huge amont. Lesson learned.
