I was wondering if anyone had instructions on how to install a rear heat exchanger in an '06 Nytro? Any help would be appreciated.

It just replaces the crossover pipe... Basically remove the taillight trim, remove the exhaust trim, and then you should have access to remove the crossover pipe. Reinstall the exchanger and button everything up.
If you haven't bought the exchanger already though, go with the air-radiator... Cheaper and far more effective if you are in ice/marginal snow conditions.

Ok thanks. Sounds pretty simple enough.

The pipe on my 05 Vector had to be riveted in place. Use good Yamaha rivets, not the cheap aluminum my dealer used.

There is a link somewhere which details/shows how to go about this job.
I did it a couple years ago, and going by those directions, it was easy peezy.
Edit: Right here, Rockerdan's write up is the one I used.

$112 online for a new one. You can reuse the original hose, and I'd recommend a 92mm 'tornado' computer fan. (moves A LOT of air!) There is a factory fan for it, but it is $$$. I've done it to both my warrior and my rx1.
