Just picked up my 2007 Rage GT today, and noyiced it has a rear heat exchanger in the end of the tunnel. How many years have they been putting the rear heat exchangers on this model? I used to have a little trouble with my 2004 Warrior over heating. Should not have that problem with rthe 2007 Rage Gt with the factory installed Rear heat exchanger.

My 05 never ran hot and it doesn't have the rear cooler just a crossover tube. Last year I ran it in some really thin conditions (read mud) for miles and it was fine. We were on a loop ride and 3/4 of the way around turning back was not an option. :o|

I don't really recall and overheating issues with the 3cyl engine

the 05 rage doesn't have a rear heat exchanger either
what does the warrior exchanger look like....I'm thinking its flat and mounts where the cross over tube is????

The 05 Rage and Warrior both had just the rear crossover tube. In 06 they added the cooler to the rear of the Rage. You can add the rear cooler to the 05 Rage and the 04/05 Warrior.

If you run studs you will need to fabricate protectors. I looked at the 06 Rage last year at the dealer and even though Yama extended the tunnel protectors to cover the cooler from my experience with the cooler & protectors on my Warrior they didn't appear adequate to prevent the studs from hitting the cooler on the 06 Rage. I'm not sure if they modified the 07 design on the Rage.
