I just got back from riding in the U.P. this past weekend. Got to run against 2 - 2010 Crossfires. We had a lake with packed snow which was about 1/4 mile long. I have an 08 RTX with a Super Q exhaust. The rest is stock. Crossfires had a exhaust can as well.

Sleds are dead even during run. I won 2 out of 4 runs by a sled and they won by the same amount the other two runs.

That was impressive in my opinion. AC is claiming around 160 hp! Thats 20+ hp over our sleds. These sleds come with 141" track with 1 1/2" paddle track. My sled has stock 1 1/4" Ripsaw. Out of the hole, the torque of Nytro is huge. It might even get out quicker than the Crossfires.

I was extremely happy with sled's performance to say the least.

Good too hear!

I'm not much for racing but a ZR900 got introduced to my Nytro (09 RTX stock) over 800 feet..

3-4 lengths ahead, and he beats F1000's does that sound right to you guys??

yeh it does. i have beat a zr 900 and it did not catch me but it only had 96 studs, i was going about 170km on speedo. im sure if we ran the lake for long enough he would have caught up but i was so far ahead already. that sled should do 110 mph easily.. this zr 900 was stock other than studs. but for this zr 900 to beat f1000's? i cant see it, anythings possible tho

I ran my stock 2009 Nytro FX against a 2008 CF800 and a 2010 CF800 and were beat by both out of the hole and at the top end. Cost me a beer and sent me back to the drawing board. Called Ulmer and ordered a Trail Performer package #6. Well now it's a different story. I beat both out of the hole and at least 3-5 sled lengths at 1/4 mile. I also ran against a 2008 Doo 800R and he beat me across the board. Still planning my next mod?

I raised an 08 summit xp 800 with a can and beat him slightly. Not sure about a shortie BRP though :drink:

Are you guys serious! Beating 2010 crossfires, brp 800's? I have trouble with 600 revs! I'm totally stock tho. I've spent so :-o much time and $$$ to get mine to handle worth a dam, I haven't done much for performance. Might just have spend a few more cdn $$$ and get this thing to move a little quicker!

My brother has a 600 etec xrs. Surprisingly, it runs good. From a dead start though, that is wear the Nytro shines. He did run against the 800 Crossfire as well. He got a good jump but the 800 outran him though.

If your having trouble with stock 600s there is something real wrong with your sled

they r not as strong on top. but mine will go 105-107 everyday on hard pack. and some 600s are fast...my cousin has an 07 600 renegade, with a 1.75" track, vforce 3 reeds, cudney clutch kit, and sno stuff can and it runs strong! beats rev 800 h.o's. but i still take him

friend of mine raced his buddys 09 nytro with his 700 iq both stock about 4 times. he told me the nytro killed him out of the hole by 3 or 4 but he caught him and went by everytime. but it was a long strech too.
