Just finished watching an Ebay auction close on a Nytro subframe. It was the first generation off a wrecked 08 and it went for $371.00. It did have some body plastic, steering linkage, and swaybar but it was probably purchased for just the subframe. Funny thing is that the price on a 2010 subframe is only $371.38 !!!! Price has come way down from 08-09 prices of $460. These prices can be found at http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/ .

I think you can. Somebody posted somewhere else that they installed one on a 08. Looks like the part number for the 2010 supercedes the 09 part number.

That's what we call a volume discount. So many have had to replace the subframes that Yamaha probably had to add an extra shift just to make them, reducing overhead and lower cost is the result.

Yup, the more you make, the cheaper they get. At least the cost is coming down for the end user.
