Nytro trying out a new front suspension

As Mr Sled reported in the hot topics. Yamaha dominated the cross country racing in Mercer this weekend. I was at the race and Checked out the Yamaha pit area and noticed a completely different front Suspension on one of the Nytro's. In Mr Sled's Report you can kind of see it in the first picture !

Any one have any insight on this suspension and whether we will see a copy of it on new sleds? The "A" arms and the the spindles looked totally different then the other sleds that were in the pit's .

Here is more info on the front end improvements , from Chris Reid's Sled Talk blog:

"The basics of the kit is comprised of essentially a complete front clip (A-arms, spindles, sway bars the whole enchilada). You also get a 128 inch track which requires relocation of the rear skid and a large capacity fuel tank. The end result yields a chassis with improved high speed ‘manners’, read into that what you will. Now I anticipate a few questions arising from this post so let me jump ahead a bit. No it is not going to be a production model in 2013. Is it planned to be a production model ever? … certainly not in its present form. Can I purchase one? Sure, the part number is SMA-XCRAC-KT-OO and the retail price is (you might want to sit down for a minute) US$ 8,284.00."

Just do the Star Suspension 128 kit, I did and love it, just make sure to re-valve your shocks.

Yes we use OEM Yamaha windshields

and the front end is not just the a arms its a sub frame as well?

could you tell us how the sled acts with the different front end and skid moved back compared to a stock nytro?

Hi Aaron, You guys looked very busy tring to get thinks set up so I refrained from coming over and bugging you guys. From the sucess you guys are having , you must be reporting back to the big guys on how this front suspension works ? When can us little guy's see something new on the Nytro?
Is that a new color blue or just something the racers came up with? It looked great.
