Ive had 07 f6,07f1000, 08 jaguar,and curently on 09 nitro xtx. Iv'e said this before, the twin spar chassis is the best trail, yes trail sled out there, that being said its not for everybody, and the jag is one of the best. it just didn't have enough fun factor for me. I wanted something between my F7 and the jag. I have so far 212 miles on my xtx, so its not quite broke in yet . motor is awsome, front suspension is good , rear is good , gas milege is getting better 15-16 so far, the xtx is too long for ditch banging, I would say a rtx with a 128'' conversion with a cobra cat track[quiet] would be better for ditch banging.Once you go 4stroke you wont go back you can't beat the gas and go, you just need to find the sled that works for you. Its too bad you can't take the best designs form each factory and build the sled you want.
asphaltkitty I think I'm looking for the same sled you are. My previous sled was a F7, and the one before that was a CCZR800. Now the F1000, like you said it's by far the best sled I've ever had for trail riding, just doesn't have the fun factor like the F7 did. I'm almost to the point that I think a guy needs 2 sleds depending on what kind of riding you're gonna do that day. I like the idea of getting a 4S, 3-5 mpg better and no more $40/gal oil. Keep the opinions comming.

I have an 06 Apex GT and a 08 Nytro. I really can't decide if I want to sell the Apex. I have the same problem. Last year I had the Apex and a F7. I like having two different sleds to ride, when I bought the Nytro I was hoping I could have it all in one sled. Not sure on that yet...............

MY last sled wan Attak- great sled when the trals are smooth. I bought a Nytro RTX SE for this year. I figure I can make the sled softer easier then I coulod make the ATTak stiffer. I did revalve my shocks and change the springs on my Attak. This stuff helped but I still ended up cracking my skid sevral times. The Nytro is a very good sled.
