I am thinking about buying the oversized skins for my Nytro this year for the powder, has anyone tried these and what do u think of them r they worth buying...

I was always under the impression they were just to protect your skis when not riding. Unless your talking about something else.

ya i ve seen the ones you put on for when your like trailering it somewhere and stuff like that but not for actual riding
There was a company in canada that use to make them and I beleive they went out of business.
I thought i seen an add recently somewhere that had them though.

I went to our local Yamaha dealer inquiring about changing to MTN skis and he suggested these skins which go on over the skis ...told me he had sold many of them last season and everyone who used them thought they were great and r alot less expensive than changing skis

This was the parts manager with the dealership and he knew what machine I am riding, so if they were for steel skis y would he suggest these to me over changng the skis out

Oh sorry...I am going to check back with the dealership to make sure that what he is selling is not indeed for steel skis...will let u know what he says about the skins or boots or whatever they call them...lol
