Hey everyone I have a 2011 Nytro XTX while on a ride this weekend I looked down to check my fuel gauge and noticed I have no display what so ever. I took everything apart split the gauge cluster (did have water in it) let everything dry tried it again still nothing I'm hoping it not a shorted wire I wiggled wires on harness and no change. The backlight works but I'm stuck on this one anyone run into this problem or have any ideas where I can start to resolve this issue thanks

Make sure all the fuses in the fuse box are good on the right side by the battery.

If its just the fuel gauge check the connector on the rightside of the gas tank. Will have to remove some covers to get to it.

If the green connector on the right of the fuel tank is disconnected the fuel will flash full bars on and off on the screen. Just put my sled back together and forgot to plug it in lol.

dang, that's still new! not even broken in yet. I don't think you would want mine on there, my gauge had 28oo miles on it before I swapped it out. if you are going to buy brand new I would seriously look into buying the EFI Vector Gauge cluster. way way better than the digital nytro gauge.

Check your load controll relay and make sure all your connections are good before spending big bucks on a new display. Can't imagine they come cheap.

I have the same fault...usually only backlight, no information on the display. Sometimes the display shows information. Here https://ty4stroke.com/threads/fault-codes-relay-fuse-location-wire-diagram-diagnostics.83992/ you can see the wiring diagram. I have disassembled the gauge, it is only 6 wires. If the load control relay would be broken, it would not light the backlight? One wire goes to ECU, what is that? Where the ECU is located?

never heard this with these and have had one since 09. I would just get a used one, no doubt they are cheap and I would be fairly sure thats the problem

Ok... I have already bought a new used one, 120 euros (@Finland). I will hopefully get it this week and I hope it works fine. Edit: Got it and it seems to be working at least ignition on. I could not start and run the sled, because oil tank/reservoir is not connected (because one attachment point was cracked) and ofcourse oil is out.
It is stupid that the ECU does not have the mileage in the memory, now I have wrong mileage (less, almost half).
But I am interested in fixing this old original one. I might try to check the solders and re-solder the circuit board. If I had the schematic diagram I could even try to measure it, also the ECU communication line. Of course also layout diagram would help . (I have some education of Electronics). But probably nobody has those?
