Lost gauge cluster on the lake last night. Stopped and sled was still running I thought i would try a restart. It would not restart until I unhooked positive battery post. It then restarted but still no gauges. Also no taillight or brake light. Rode 40 miles back to camp stopping several times with no problem started right up. Pulled the hood this morning and all I could find is a blown taillight fuse. Replaced and all appears fine gauge cluster and all. I am thinking i may have pinched wire under the gas tank. Just wanted to post about the battery thing in case some one had the same issue. I have 15 Viper LTX DX with the trail turbo. Just rolled up 1000 Miles.

I think the tail light, gauges and accessory plug are on the same circuit.

I think your right. I just thought it was strange it would not restart until I pulled battery power.
