I’d like the shorten the lead on mine as it’s way longer than I need. I’d like to get my hands on the pins used in the plug so I can shorten it and re pin the plug as opposed to cutting the wire and splicing
You could try Bosch 17123...its the same as a 17025 but shorter at 13"I’d like the shorten the lead on mine as it’s way longer than I need. I’d like to get my hands on the pins used in the plug so I can shorten it and re pin the plug as opposed to cutting the wire and splicing
I use the 17123 sensor on my Apex's autotune.
Yeah they give you a boatload of wire with the AFR Module. Not only that the location of the plug is down by the chaincase in an already cluttered area. I just pulled the feed back and cut it at the steering post and spliced into the AFR Module there. It's very simple to do, only 4 wires, power and Canbus. Did the same for the communicator and it really cleaned things up.I’d like the shorten the lead on mine as it’s way longer than I need. Does closed loop correct below 100, like lean it out some on a mild day or just add fuel fof colder daysI have had the O2 module since 2019 and the closed loop since it was first offered and I am very pleased with it.
I data log on a fairly regular basis and it shows up to 125% fuel correction in the colder weather on the bigger tunes. 100% would be no correction to the fuel supplied and 125% meaning the closed loop is adding 25% more fuel then the sled would get without it!
When cruising on the 240 tune the data indicates the closed loop is removing fuel from what would normally be supplied so in my mind it provides the best of both worlds...more fuel when required to keep safe AFRs under big power demand and less fuel when required for optimum AFR for economy.
Works for me...

So is it possible to build your own o2 sensor harness? I've got the hurricane bundle and it shows AFR on there.
You will need the AFR module and the sensor.. Then yes it's possible to tap the stock harness for power and signalSo is it possible to build your own o2 sensor harness? I've got the hurricane bundle and it shows AFR on there.

It's a Bosch wideband O2 sensor. Check the Bosch part numbers above (17025, 17123, 17212). No sense buying them from Summit or Jegs or from AEM for $180 when you can buy them on eBay or other internet sites for $25-$50.
TF, That includes the module if it's needed. If not then yes buying just the sensor is a better value.
