I was looking into getiting a o2 sensor and guage for my sled i was just wondering if i need to get the sensor and guage or is there already a sensor on the sled? this is a apex with a mcx

You need to install a wideband sensor, there is no onboard sensor you can use. Easiest way is to buy it as a kit that contains, wb-sensor, weldon bunge, computer, gauge. Here are some manufacturers: Innovate, FJO, Zeitronics. There are many others, do a search for WideBand O2. Here's the link to an Innovate kit to get you started, http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/sc ... tegory=118

I am new to the 4 stroke/turbo game but what i need to know is how important is to have the 02 sensor?Going with a Alpine kit...is it mainly for fine tuning?Just curious if the sled /turbo is safe with out it currently.

here is what i tell everyone whats cheaper a motor or a wideband.

I can get PLX widebands for about $300us there very good i use them on the car and im putting one on the sled this year, they use bosch O2 sensor so there pretty cheap to change.

Best to have one say cold day u hammer it and boom ur seeing 13.0s back off the throtle cause its leaning out.
