You haven't proven anything though. Comparing by their performance two things that are broken doesn't tell you what they would be like if they WEREN'T broken. If you are unable to get the aftermarket kit to perform better than stock, then that probably says that either that particular kit was trash (you have yet to state what it was), that you lack tuning ability, or that you weren't testing the area the kit was designed to help out.
1) You have not stated by what measure you are judging -- top speed, time, hole shot, backshift, etc.
2) You have not stated by what means you are measuring,
3) same-day,same-field does NOT mean same-conditions. Conditions can change enough to DRASTICALLY alter the results in less time than it takes to rip your clutches apart and put them back together.
