If i understand it correctly the 98 ethanol blended could actually be a 95 octane fuel (or something close) mixed with Ethanol, since the ethanol increases the octane number of the fuel? Right?
Does anyone know the exact conversion ratio between ron/pon octane numbers? I believe 98 octane RON equals about 93-94 PON? Could anyone verify these numbers?
