looking for the best/ most reasonable place to buy oem parts. I need some upper a arm bushings for my 2003 rx1 and my local dealer wants $13 per bushing!

Don't mess with the cheap plastic OEM bushings, they wear out very quick. Get the oilite bushings from Ulmer or Pioneer.

Allen told me I would need to get OEM bushings for the upper arms since the 2003 model had steel arms

X2 on the Ulmer's. Just put them in over the weekend and WOW what a difference.

I agree on the oilite bushings. Do not waste your time and money on the OEM bushings.

As far as a good place to buy Yamaha parts at a discount try Port Yamaha. They are a TY advertiser and I believe that they discount Yamaha parts, accessories, & clothing 20% off of retail. Call Kevin and he will take good care of you.

Call Kevin @portyamaha and order your parts. I have seen the OEM go 10,000 plus miles, alittle grease yearly goes a long way!

Okay, here,s my take, Oilite yep better ,the answer not totally, ZERTS . Did both of my 06 mtns ,( one turbo other just clutch and geared) 2010 a-arms that have factory zerts, and lower bulkhead bolts that year have zerts also. Drill and tap spindle for zerts. Shot of grease every 3rd or 4th ride , what a difference in the feel of front end. Saves your bulkhead too.
